Abstracts can be submitted under any of the following categories:

Abstract should be based on original research and should NOT have been presented/published at any national or international conferences.
The abstract is an ORIGINAL work of the authors listed.
The content is free from commercial influence or bias.
Participating author whose abstracts are accepted for presentation and/or poster display must register and pay for the conference by the registration deadline. If registration is not settled, the abstracts will be withdrawn from the scientific programme.
Abstracts must be prepared in ENGLISH.
Studies conducted in Ministry of Health facilities must submit NMRR ID with their abstract.
Case series acceptance is subjected to reviewer’s discretion but case reports will NOT be considered.
The Scientific Committee will review and reserve the right to decide on the acceptance of abstracts.
All abstracts must be SUBMITTED ONLINE through the abstract submission link.

Abstracts must be submitted by 7 AUGUST 2020. Late submissions or incomplete abstracts will not be entertained.
The NCCR Scientific Committee will review all abstracts and the Secretariat will notify the participating/presenting author by email by 12 August 2020.
The abstract for RESEARCH/CLINICAL AUDIT should NOT exceed 250 words limit and include the following sections: Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion/Conclusion.
The abstract for CASE SERIES should NOT ot exceed 250 words limit and include the following sections: Introduction, Case Series and Learning Point/Conclusion.
Author(s)’ name must be written in FULL. Do not include professional title or degrees. List any institutional affiliation, state and country. Please make sure all authors contributed significantly to the research project.
Abstract title must be in Title Case, e.g. “Cardiovascular Problems in Community Settings”. Title should be brief and clearly indicate the content of the abstract.
Graphs, tables or illustrations are NOT allowed in the abstract.
Abbreviations must be defined by placing it in parentheses after the full word, the first time it appears.
Use numerals to represent number except when beginning a sentence.
Please ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors.
Original work related to COVID-19 pandemic will be prioritised for the award.
The first author must be the presenting author and should be 40 years of age or below.
Six abstracts with the highest grades will be shortlisted for Young Investigator Awards according to the following:
First place: RM 1,000
Second place: RM 700
Third place: RM 500
Three Merit Awards: RM 300 each
Each winner will also receive a certificate of achievement.
Judges’ decisions are final. No correspondence will be entertained.
Shortlisted participants are required to submit an electronic poster for display during the conference.
The electronic poster should be prepared according to the required dimension and submitted one week before the conference by 15 AUGUST 2020.
Electronic poster format will be notified through email together with acceptance decision.
